SCHOOL PERFORMANCE
Each year, schools in North Carolina may receive
several designations based on their performance on the state's ABCs tests.
Those designations are awarded on the basis of the percentage of students
performing at grade level and on whether students have learned as much
as they are expected to learn in one year. The designations earned by
your school are displayed below, followed by a brief description of each
designation.

Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) Results
North Carolina has set target goals that schools
must meet to make Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) under No
Child Left Behind (NCLB).
AYP
Targets
Our school
made
adequate yearly progress.
We met 9
of our 9 performance targets.

School Improvement Status
Under No Child Left Behind (NCLB),
schools enter Title I School Improvement status by not meeting
target goals in the same subject (reading or mathematics)
for two years in a row. A school in Title I School Improvement
status must take certain measures to improve performance.
Below is the status of the current year (2009-10) based
on 2008-09 data.
Our school is not in Titile I School Improvement.
