SCHOOL PERFORMANCE
Each year, schools in North Carolina may receive
several designations based on their performance on the state's ABCs tests.
Those designations are awarded on the basis of the percentage of students
performing at grade level and on whether students have learned as much
as they are expected to learn in one year. The designations earned by
your school are displayed below, followed by a brief description of each
designation.

Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) Results
North Carolina has set target goals that schools
must meet to make Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) under the federal No
Child Left Behind Act.
AYP
Targets
Our school
did not make
adequate yearly progress.
We met 18
of our 21 performance targets.
Click
here for additional information on AYP by student group and subject.
Click here to learn more about School Improvement Status.
School Improvement Status
Under the federal No Child Left Behind law,
schools enter Title I School Improvement Status by not meeting target
goals in the same subject (reading or mathematics) in each of three
grade spans (3-5, 6-8, and high school) for two years in a row.
A school in Title I School Improvement must take certain measures
to improve performance.
Our school is not in school improvement status.
