Your report card provides the total number of teachers in your school and the average number of teachers in schools similar to yours in the district and the state. School similarity is determined based on the grades offered in your school.
The total number of teachers reported here is based on the teachers the state has defined as "classroom" teachers, who were employed in March 2012. There are other adults who work in school buildings, many of whom work with children, who are not counted here.
